The Skerries Community Centre was established in 1983 through community effort and fundraising, led by the late Jim Quigley, to meet the changing needs of the town. The initiative and drive invested in those early days has helped develop Skerries Community Centre into the thriving organisation it is today.
Built by the community, for the community, Skerries Community Centre offers a wide range of fitness and sporting activities both indoor in the sports hall, dance studio and fully equipped gym, and outdoor on the all weather facility and tennis courts.
