Westport CC also known as Westport Covey Wheelers are based in Westport and are considered as one of the best cycling clubs in the West of Ireland. Westport CC welcome all ages with varying degrees of abilities to join the club. During the year they organise group spins for all skill levels.
Winter Training:
Group spinning classes on Wednesday night take place in Scoil Phadraig from 7pm to 8pm.
Also Sunday morning group spins take place from 9am for different levels of experience. Routes normally take 2 to 3 hours to complete/
Summer/Spring/Autumn Training:
Evening spins normally take place from late March on Wednesday evening until September. All skill levels are catered for.
March sees the competitions taking place and some Westport CC take part in events and races during the year.
