Athlone GAA are famous for being the most successful football club in Westmeath. The Athlone GAA club has a hugely strong selection of young players. This is due to their history of producing championship winning teams across all under age categories both for boys and girls.
Their senior squads reflect this growth and experience and have just under 20 Westmeath championship senior titles.
